Pay stations inconvenient for Larchmont Village shoppers
They’re back! Parking meters have re-emerged on Larchmont Blvd. after a five-year absence. According to the city Department of Transportation, the pay stations were an inconvenience for patrons of Larchmont Blvd.
Clinton Quan, transportation engineering associate, said the new meters with both coin and credit card availability, are being installed along Larchmont and Beverly boulevards. The westside city parking lot will retain the pay stations.
The $57,000 cost of the project comes from a special parking revenue fund.
