Family Fair brings magic to late October

LARCHMONT FAMILY FAIR brings fun and community to the Boulevard.
The Larchmont Family Fair returns yet again, bringing enchantment up and down Larchmont Boulevard. The Fair will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Sun., Oct. 25. It’s a no-cars-allowed afternoon on the Boulevard between Beverly Boulevard and First Street. Families and friends will gather to celebrate the season and mingle with one another.
The 61st iteration of the Fair will feature several fan favorites, including the ever-popular children’s costume contest for little ones and drinks for not-so-little ones. Food, rides, and games will be available for everyone’s enjoyment, and live kid-friendly music will be performed on stage throughout the afternoon. This year’s Fair also features a fantasy reading presented by Chevalier’s Books, as well as other children’s areas filled with fairies and dragons.
By far the Boulevard’s largest event of the year, recent estimations have put visitor numbers around 10,000. Local businesses, schools, and restaurants will have their own booths as well, and visitors can get to know many staples of the community—be sure to come say hey to us over at the Chronicle’s booth! The Larchmont Village Farmers Market will be running alongside the Fair, in its usual spot, making it an event not to be missed.
Admission is free to all, but food and games will require payment. Ride tickets will cost $2 each.
