Neighborly animal hospital and urgent care opens
A neighborhood veterinary practice with modern technology is at the new Larchmont Animal Hospital + Urgent Care.
“We are thrilled to now be serving patients and families in the Larchmont community,” said Dr. Doron Vardi, medical director and veterinarian at the facility.
The independently owned veterinary hospital provides both general practice and urgent care for dogs and cats. In addition to wellness and preventive care, the facility offers same-day urgent appointments, surgery, dentistry, digital X-rays, ultrasound, and comprehensive in-house laboratory testing.
“What distinguishes us is that families can come to the same neighborhood hospital for routine care as well as more urgent medical needs,” Dr. Vardi said. “Our goal is to combine advanced diagnostics and high-quality medicine with the warmth, accessibility, and continuity of a neighborhood veterinary practice. We are one of the few veterinary facilities in the area offering general practice, urgent care, extended hours, and Sunday availability under one roof.”
The Boston native earned his veterinary degree from the University of Perugia, Italy, and completed his clinical training at Colorado State University. He chose Larchmont for his practice because of its strong sense of community. “It truly feels like a neighborhood. I wanted to build an independent hospital where clients know their veterinarian and feel personally cared for while still having access to advanced equipment and a broad range of medical services when their pets become sick or injured.”
Larchmont Animal Hospital+Urgent Care is at 428 N. Larchmont Blvd., 323-900-5656; larchmontanimalhospital.org. Open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday through Wednesday. Closed Thursday.
