2022 is another election year!
There are lots of local elections this year, with the primaries being on June 7 and a general election for any needed runoffs on November 8. Many of the local districts are mapped on the back page of this month’s second section.
In just the City of Los Angeles mayor’s race, there are 38 people who have told the Ethics Commission that they want to run! The chart above lists names of people who have filed with the Commission as of press time, along with others rumored to be in the running.
A final list will not be available until the February 12 deadline for candidates to declare formally their intent to run. And not all of those who do will complete the additional requirements . . . so stay tuned!
