Harvest Carnival at Hancock Park Elementary October 5

FAMILY FUN for all.

Kick off the fall season with a trip to the Harvest Carnival at Hancock Park Elementary School, 408 S. Fairfax Ave., Sat., Oct. 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“It’s going to be bigger and more exciting this year,” says Victoria Yoon, a Friends Of Hancock Park board member who is in charge of the festival this year.

Featured at the festival will be the Euro jump, a rock wall obstacle course and other carnival games.  A train, game truck, petting zoo and a haunted hallway round out the attractions at the festival.

Besides barbecues at the event, El Coyote will be providing tacos and quesadillas, presented by Rose Christofferson. Whole Foods will also be donating food for the event. Hamburgers will be donated by Huntington Meats, and the Original Farmers Market also is a sponsor of the carnival.

The day of the event, parking restrictions will be relaxed on Colgate between Crescent Heights and Fairfax.

Admission is free. Enter on Colgate Avenue.
