RESIDENTS enjoy a visit to the pumpkin patch.

Families can pick up gourds and ornamental corn for their harvest centerpieces, and they can find the best pumpkin for Halloween this month while supporting Wilshire Rotary Club at the pumpkin patch at 568 N. Larchmont Blvd.

The patch opens Sat., Oct. 5 and continues through Sun., Oct. 27 or when the pumpkins sell out. Hours are 2 to 6 p.m. on weekdays, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

There will be a bounce house for kids and a hay bale maze.

The neighborhood is also invited to a Halloween Hoedown, with live music and food, Sat., Oct. 19.

Proceeds from the pumpkin patch benefit the Wilshire Rotary Foundation and The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International for service projects in the community and humanitarian projects around the world. Visit facebook.com/larchmontpumpkinpatch.
