Like it or not, you are likely to hear fireworks this Fourth of July. But the fourth is never just about the fireworks—it’s about the concert you hear beforehand, the Dodger dog that accompanies them, or the block party that surrounds you. Here are seven Fourth of July fireworks or drone show events happening across Los Angeles celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.

The Wilshire Country Club will return to hosting its fireworks show this year, following its closure due to construction last year. The event, held at the club on the corner of Rossmore Avenue and Beverly Boulevard, is private for members and guests and will start at 9 p.m. and last 20 minutes. Neighbors nearby will be able to see the display.

The Hollywood Bowl will host The Beach Boys at 7:30 p.m. to celebrate both America’s 250th and the 60th anniversary of their groundbreaking album “Pet Sounds.” The event will be followed by Thomas Wilkins leading the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and a fireworks show.

While the Hollywood Forever Cemetery hosts outdoor film screenings in collaboration with Cinespia throughout the summer, their showings on Fri., July 3, and Sat., July 4, will both be accompanied by fireworks. Hosted on Fairbanks Lawn, Hollywood Forever will screen “Shrek” on Friday—celebrating the seminal film’s 25th anniversary—and “Jurassic Park” on Saturday. Both events will take place at 7:15 p.m.

Dodger Stadium will host a fireworks show immediately following their 7:10 p.m. game against the San Diego Padres at the UNIQLO Field–there is no better way to celebrate the fourth than with a Dodger dog and hours of Echo Park traffic.

Universal Studios will host a fireworks display, an event included with theme park admission.

Gloria Molina Grand Park’s free summer block party, at 200 N. Grand Ave., will include zine-making and stage performances from 4 to 9:30 p.m, as well as a 700-drone show.

Hosted by Councilmember Bob Blumenfield, Warner Center Park’s free July 4 extravaganza includes food trucks, local arts and crafts vendors, a performance of Steely Dan songs by the L.A.-based band Doctor Wu, and a 20-minute fireworks display. The event will take place from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd in Woodland Hills.

Marina del Rey will host a fireworks show over the harbor’s main channel visible from local and surrounding areas, including the Venice Pier, Playa Vista, and Dockweiler Beach.
