ICE raid at local Home Depot

| June 19, 2025 | 0 Comments

This morning ICE agents con-ducted an enforcement action at the Home Depot located on Sunset Boulevard near Western. The location is known for having individuals looking for day work and congregating in the parking lot. The agents also apprehended vendors who were outside of the parking lot selling food. The exact number of individuals that were appre-hended has not been released but several bystanders released cell phone videos of the arrests.

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol released the following statement: “We are advising the general public to avoid assault-ing, obstructing, interfering, impeding, or intimidating federal agents while conducting their immigration law enforcement duties. Per 18 USC 111, an individual, citizen or not, can be arrested facing felony charges.”

A young woman interviewed by KTLA news on the scene ex-pressed her discontent with the opinion that U.S. Citizens can commit far worse crimes and nothing happens to them, she “wanted answers” of why the people who helped “build California” were being treated this way.
