Scholarship fund established in name of Nick Fagnano
A scholarship fund for undergraduate transfer students has been established at the University of Southern California in the name of Nick Fagnano who was to begin his junior year there in the fall.
A graduate of St. Brendan School and Notre Dame High School, Fagnano, 20, was electrocuted when a bolt of lightning struck the water near the Venice Pier on July 26. He was the only child of Mary and Jay Fagnano, formerly of Van Ness Ave.
Donations can be made to the scholarship fund in Fagnano’s name at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy at priceschool.usc.edu/in-memoriam-nick-fagnano or to the St. Brendan School Building Fund.
