40TH ANNUAL block party in Brookside drew neighbors.
Muirfield Road, closed for one block on June 23, was the setting for this year’s Brookside Block Party — the 40th annual edition of the fun-filled event for families. Councilman David Ryu stopped by, as did Hubertus Cox and his wife Jeanette. Cox is a senior environmental engineer with the city’s Watershed Protection Division. He has been studying the brook that runs (sometimes) behind many Brookside houses.
