Music world mourns the death of Ozzy Osbourne

Ozzy Osbourne, the former lead singer of Black Sabbath and longtime solo artist, passed away today at the age of 76. He has been struggling with Parkinson’s disease for many years and succumbed to the disease. Just two weeks ago he had performed in a concert that was billed as Black Sabbath’s last show in Birmingham England, the band’s hometown. He was the anointed godfather of heavy metal music and influenced many popular bands such as Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Pantera and may more. In his later years he became a reality television star with his family, so many fans got an inside look at the former wild man living a domestic life.
