Go Greek Yogurt and a classic steakhouse come to the Blvd.

SIGNS ON THE WINDOW announce the Go Greek Yogurt store coming to the Boulevard.
Donuts are being swapped out for Greek yogurt on the boulevard. The pricey Go Greek Yogurt is taking over the space formerly occupied by Holey Grail Donuts, at 148 S. Larchmont Blvd. The yogurt shop is the fourth in the L.A. area, with many more around the world. It will feature a fresh yogurt bar with healthful topping choices, along with self-serve frozen yogurt. All the yogurt ingredients are sourced from Europe. As their website states, Go Greek “wants to bring a little of the Mediterranean to the rest of the world.” They hope to open in early 2026.
Béis, a luggage company started by actress Shay Mitchell, wrapped most of the exterior of the building of Chipotle, 301 N. Larchmont Blvd., in metallic silver material to emulate and promote the brand’s newest color. The pop-up event took place at the corner of Larchmont and Beverly boulevards on Dec. 6 and 7. The weekend included a photo booth, keychain giveaways, and discounts on the new line.

BÉIS WRAPPED Chipotle in silver to promote its newest luggage color.
“It’s a great place to go for happy hour,” said Sheila Hoyer, of Wilton Drive, about the newly reimagined Kali, located at 5722 Melrose Ave. The Michelin star tasting menu restaurant has ditched that approach to become the area’s newest classic Hollywood steakhouse with six potato sides, a wedge salad, jumbo shrimp cocktail, and ice cold martinis.

NEWLY REARRANGED interior of Louise’s Trattoria.
A couple of stores on the Boulevard have gotten interior facelifts. Family-owned and operated since 1978, Louise’s Trattoria, at 232 N. Larchmont Blvd., changed its seating to accommodate large parties and make the space more comfortable and welcoming. Thinking of a family holiday dinner? This could be your new go-to.
Just down the way, at 206 N. Larchmont Blvd., Starbucks updated its interior with new wall finishes and artwork, work-friendly seating along with digital menu boards.

TOPO CLOSES and Topologie climbs in.
A shop closed its doors, sad to say, another is set to open the very next day. An inside source told the Chronicle that Topo will close its doors permanently at the end of December, and Topologie will step in. Previously, Topologie products were carried next door at
Topdrawer. Topologie sells accessories “inspired by rock climbing gear,” according to its advertising. Topo, Topdrawer, Topologie…well, terrific!
A bit more dramatic is the gossip that Larchmont Village Wine, Spirits & Cheese no longer has ciabatta bread as an option for its sandwiches. This is not simply tittle-tattle; it is truth according to Operations Manager Mercedes Ascencio. She said, “The quality of the bread wasn’t there anymore. Our signature here is using half-baked ciabatta. We are looking to replace it. In the meantime, we are using our baguettes.”

WHO KNEADS THIS? A serious ciabatta issue is at hand.
