CELEBRATE EARTH DAY, April 19.

CELEBRATE EARTH DAY with the Natural History Museum on Sun., April 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with activities and debut of an environmental film series, “Green Screen.” Visit nhm.org/earthday. Another project, City Nature Challenge, is Fri., April 24 to Mon., April 27, where participants document the wildlife around them with their cameras and smartphones and help scientists the world over. AFTERNOON WITH EVE A CHIC AFFAIRE—the Assistance League of L.A.’s fashion with a purpose event—is Fri., April 24 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Skirball Cultural Center, 2701 N. Sepulveda Blvd. Guess is featured fashion designer at the annual luncheon to raise funds supporting the League’s College Scholarship for homeless youth throughout Los Angeles and other programs.
