It was only fitting Larchmont postman and Boulevard cupid Carl Mitchell was at Kevin Perry and Catherine Gall’s Malibu wedding Dec. 13.

The bookkeeper at Maidenberg CPA and the owner of Yousen Plumbing met through their friendly mailman two years ago.

“(Kevin) saw me walking to the mailbox, and he asked Carl who I was… Carl gave me his business card, and said this gentleman thought I was cute… or whatever,” Cathy told us last month.

Before calling her admirer, Cathy wanted to know if he was cute. “’I don’t know,’” Carl laughed.

“Is he funny?” she asked next.

“’He has me in stitches every day,’” Carl told her.

A few phone calls later with the man who was definitely funny, and maybe cute, they met for dinner at Lucy’s El Adobe.

A second marriage for both, the reverend officiated on the sand with the couple’s seven grown children and nine-month old grandchild in attendance.

The honeymoon will have to wait as both the bride and the bridegroom were back at work the following Monday.
