New power poles come to Larchmont Blvd.
THE ALLEY between Larchmont and Lucerne boulevards will occasionally close to through traffic.
Los Angeles Dept. of Water and Power will be coming to Larchmont Blvd. as early as next Mon., May 16, to replace power poles. Work is expected to continue through November.
The power pole replacement will take place in the alley between Beverly Blvd. and 1st St., and will be Mondays through Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and may include some Sundays. Crews may work extended hours Tuesday through Thursday until 6 p.m.
The alley between Larchmont and Lucerne boulevards will be closed to through traffic occasionally, however, access to the alley and businesses will be maintained.
Power to customers may be interrupted temporarily during the project. Customers will be given a two-day advance notification if any planned outage will last more than 2 hours.
