Larchmont Family Fair draws thousands to Boulevard
Climbing walls, pony rides and water rollers were among the activities that drew kids and their families to the annual Larchmont Boulevard Association Family Fair on October 25.
Fairgoers also visited the many booths along the boulevard, which was closed from Beverly Blvd. to First St. for the fair.
Korean barbecue and homemade desserts were featured at school booths while sports booths offered games.
Betsy Malloy and Tim Gogan, co-chairmen of the Fair, estimated a crowd of 10,000 during the five-hour Sunday afternoon event.
A costume contest drew youngsters in outfits ranging from witches to skeletons. Later in the afternoon contestants vied for prizes in the talent show.
Other rides included midget racecars, a bounce house and camel rides. There was also a petting zoo.
