Trina Turk is bringing her smart, fun and colorful brand to her newest boutique set to open in Larchmont Village February 2017.

This will be the 12th boutique for the fashionista, who has been a regular on the Boulevard for years.

“We have shopped and dined on Larchmont for many years. We love the neighborhood feel, the central location and the relative ease of parking,” Turk said.

When she and her husband Jonathan Skow first moved to Los Angeles they lived in Park La Brea.  Their first house was south of Brookside; they now live in Los Feliz, and still frequent Larchmont regularly.

The new shop will be “a smaller version of our flagship store in Palm Springs,” she added.

The 2,000 square foot space is just north of Larchmont Beauty Supply, formerly home to Hans Custom Optik and Pickett Fences, which both moved elsewhere on the Boulevard.

Turk is working with Los Angeles-based Bestor Architecture, which has designed several of her shops and wholesale showrooms. “Our layout will include dedicated mini-departments for Mr. Turk, Trina Turk ready- to-wear and dresses, our ‘recreation’ activewear collection, and year-round swimwear.

“We will also carry both men’s and women’s accessories including our new eyewear collection.”

Turk plans to visit often since she’s practically a local, and meanwhile “definitely looking for a top-notch team!  (Resumes can be sent to ltappe@trinaturk.com.)”
