PHOTO: Burglary suspects at large

Two suspects broke into a residence in the 600 block of Mansfield Ave. on Sun., March 1, around 10 a.m.

The victim reports the two suspects parked in front of the home and knocked on the door. When the homeowner did not answer, the suspects went into the backyard. As the victim watched on security cameras, the suspects used patio furniture to climb up to the second floor window and enter the house. The second suspect was seen waiting in the backyard, at times praying and making the sign of the cross. Once the suspect entered the home the security alarm was triggered and the suspect fled in their vehicle.

If someone knocks on your door and your do not know them or are not expecting them:

  • Do not open the door;
  • let them know you are in the home;
  • talk to them through the closed locked door;
  • immediately call your security service (SSA Security) and/or LAPD; and
  • monitor their movements.

Should you see these suspects or the vehicle, notify LAPD and SSA Security immediately. Do not attempt to follow the suspects or intervene/have contact with them.
