Barbara Yaroslavsky mourned
Family, friends and community leaders throughout the Southland were shocked and saddened upon hearing of the death of Mid City West neighbor Barbara Yaroslavsky, 71, who unexpectedly died Dec. 26 during her sixth week recuperating from West Nile virus diagnosed in November.
The unhappy news was learned just as this January issue of the paper went to press, and a fuller account of her long life of volunteer service to the local community will be featured in the February Larchmont Chronicle.
