American muscle cars at 25th Gilmore Auto Show

AUTO SHOW takes place at the Original Farmers Market.

See more than 100 classic cars on display at the 25th annual Gilmore Heritage Auto Show at the Original Farmers Market Sat., June 1 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

This year’s theme, “American Muscle Cars,” will feature lowriders, hotrods, trucks and other classic cars from private collectors, including the 1957 Lincoln originally owned by Jayne Mansfield normally on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum. Other cars from the museum will also be featured.

Attendees who are at the auto show at 5 p.m. can watch the ceremonial “drive off.”

Summer music series

Cool off with a pint while listening to music and hanging out with friends old and new at EB’s Beer and Wine on the west patio during the Farmers Market’s summer music series.  

Latin jazz and world beat soul music are played on Fridays. Hear a variety of country and western, Americana and rockabilly bands on Saturdays.

Test your knowledge on trivia nights Tuesdays. 

All events run from 7 to 9 p.m.  

Taste of Farmers Market

Taste of Farmers Market is Tues., July 23 from 5 to 9 p.m. The 11th annual event offers an evening of tastes from Farmers Market’s restaurants and grocers, live entertainment and friends from the Los Angeles Fire Department and the First-In Fire Foundation. Open to all ages, ticket information to follow in early June.
